Lushous Strings is a String Quartet based in Sydney, consisting of two Violins, a Viola and Cello.

We play for weddings, corporate functions, studio recordings, pop/rock shows and children's concerts. Ranging from classical and romantic music to amplified rock sounds we have performed throughout Australia and Internationally.

Lushous Strings were the winner of the Musicoz 2005 Classical award.

Our performers have played with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Musica Viva, Sydney Symphony Orchestra; Musicals such as Phantom of the Opera; CODA Strings; and shows with Missy Higgins, Angus and Julia Stone, and Johnny Diesel.We also record in studios for bands and movie sound tracks, and play our own original indie songs.

Lushous Strings perform at private functions, venues, are the resident string quartet at the Swiss Grande Hotel in Bondi, and also play at the Sydney Opera House, Acer Arena, and Entertainment centre.

Lushous Strings can also provide the group in trio, duo and solo format, depending on the requirements of your occasion.
