Lushous Strings can provide your special day with a magical musical atmosphere.

We are experienced at playing at weddings and have a selection of music to suit your style. Lushous are able to play at all types of weddings, in religious churches and with celebrants. We are adaptable from highly formal occasions and also to those with a more casual feel.

A standard service would require 3 pieces of your choice. Here are some suggestions:

Prior to the wedding service Lushous Strings will entertain the guests with a selection of pieces from the style of your choice for example Classical, Romantic, Baroque.

If you require music only for the Wedding Ceremony then Lushous Strings recommend a performance of 1¼ hours if it is a standard ceremony. The music can be played for 15 minutes to entertain the guests and then continued in anticipation of the arrival of the bride. This takes into account that the bride is often arriving later and then there is adequate time allowed for the music to be performed throughout the entire service.

Playing while the guests have celebratory drinks or into the reception while they enjoy their meal, Lushous have a wide variety of style and songs that can be performed.

Lushous Strings also play in a smaller format:

Trio - 2 violins and cello
Duo - 1 violin and cello
Solo - one instrument

The Trio, Duo, solo groups are best when there is less space or a smaller audience. A large range of the music can be played by the Trio, however the Duo and Solo have a similar and different range of music.

Lushous Strings have performed at; churches, private houses, restaurants: Jonahs, Bennelong at the Opera House; resident wedding performers at the Swiss Grande Hotel in Bondi, Park Hyatt in the Rocks, Gunners Barracks Tea rooms, Boronia House, Athol House, Royal Botanical Gardens, The great hall at Sydney University,and Vaucluse House to name a few.
